Terms of Service
Effective June 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Load-Bearing Leadership ("LBL"), provided by Red Team Leadership Group ("RTL," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using LBL, you agree to these Terms. If you’re using LBL on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on that organization’s behalf.
What LBL is
LBL is a team composition analysis tool. It reads behavioral tendencies across four dimensions — Drive, Cohesion, Rigor, and Range — and shows how a team is positioned to execute a specific mission. The two signature outputs are Adaptation Load (how hard the mission is bending the team’s people) and Strength Utilization (how much of the team’s capacity is actually engaged).
LBL is decision support for leaders. It is not:
- A clinical or psychological assessment
- A personality test or diagnostic tool
- A licensed psychological instrument
- An employment decision-making system
Results are meant to inform judgment, not replace it. LBL should not be the sole basis for any hiring, firing, promotion, demotion, or compensation decision.
Who may use LBL
LBL is a business-to-business service. You may use it if your organization has entered into a license agreement with RTL. Individual consumer subscriptions are not offered.
Within a licensed organization, the account holder ("Operator") manages the organization’s use of LBL. The Operator may invite employees or team members ("Respondents") to participate in the LBL survey.
Operator responsibilities
If you’re an Operator, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring respondents understand they’re participating in a team composition assessment
- Using LBL in compliance with all applicable employment laws in your jurisdiction
- Not using LBL output as the sole basis for adverse employment actions
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
Respondent participation
Respondents take the LBL survey through a private link. Participation is intended to be voluntary. Respondents do not create accounts and do not have access to their own scores or how their responses factor into team reads — that visibility belongs to the Operator. By taking the survey, respondents consent to the collection and processing of their responses as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The LBL methodology — including the four-dimension framework (Drive, Cohesion, Rigor, Range), the Adaptation Load and Strength Utilization constructs, the scoring engine, and all software and content provided through LBL — is owned by Red Team Leadership Group and protected by intellectual property law.
Your license to use LBL is personal, non-transferable, and non-exclusive. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the LBL platform or methodology.
Prohibited uses
You may not use LBL to:
- Violate any law or regulation, including anti-discrimination laws
- Make automated employment decisions without human review and judgment
- Assess individuals who have not been invited to participate by their organization
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to access another organization’s data

LBL IS PROVIDED "AS IS." RTL MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ABOUT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS OF LBL FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. BEHAVIORAL READS ARE PROBABILISTIC DECISION SUPPORT, NOT GUARANTEED PREDICTIONS OF INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM PERFORMANCE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RTL’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF LBL IS LIMITED TO THE FEES PAID TO RTL IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. RTL IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Termination
Either party may terminate the license agreement in accordance with its terms. RTL may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of LBL after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
