Privacy Policy

Load-Bearing Leadership is provided by Red Team Leadership Group ("RTL," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information we collect
Organization accounts. When an organization licenses LBL, we collect the email address and name of each operator account holder, the name of the organization, and basic account preferences.
Survey responses. Employees or team members ("respondents") who participate in an LBL survey answer questions about their own behavioral tendencies. Responses are stored in association with the organization that invited them and are never shared between organizations.
Assessment data. We compute behavioral dimension scores (Drive, Cohesion, Rigor, Range) and a tolerance profile from survey responses. These scores, and the team composition reads derived from them, are stored in association with the respondent’s organization.
Usage data. We collect standard web application data — pages visited, actions taken, timestamps — to monitor service health and improve the product.
How we use your information
- To operate the platform and deliver team composition reads to licensed organizations
- To authenticate users and secure accounts
- To send transactional emails (survey invitations, sign-in links, lead notifications)
- To generate AI-assisted narrative summaries of team reads, using third-party AI services
- To monitor service health and investigate issues
- To improve the product
We do not use your information to train AI models.
What operators and respondents can see
LBL is licensed by organizations, and data visibility reflects that structure.
- Operators and organization administrators can see the profiles, scores, team reads, and addition reads for their organization’s people and teams.
- Respondents take the survey through a private link and do not have accounts. They do not see their own scores, dimension mappings, or how their responses factor into team reads. This is by design: the reads are for leaders to use in service of their teams, not feedback to individuals.
- RTL may access data for support, security, and product improvement purposes.
Data sharing and processors
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers necessary to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication (United States, AWS us-east-1)
- Vercel — application hosting (United States)
- Railway — scoring engine hosting (United States)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (United States)
- Anthropic — AI-generated narrative summaries (United States)
Data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.
Data retention
We retain your organization’s data for as long as your organization has an active license with RTL. When a license ends, you may request deletion of your organization’s data by contacting us. Individual survey response data is retained for the life of the account or as otherwise agreed in your license agreement.
Security
We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Each organization’s data is isolated at the database layer — queries are walled by organization ID, enforced by row-level security controls. Administrative database access uses a server-only service key that is never sent to the browser.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy law — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. If we make material changes, we’ll notify affected organizations by email.
